89 Honda civic hatch no cat!!!!
I have a 89 Honda civic hatch and I took of the cat cause my shut was so low the cat ripped off going over train tracks-so I took it off but it's time for emissions here can I pass or is there a trick I can do I'm taking it tomorrow

Depending on the state you are living in, there are different forms of smog check.
I have heard of people passing the Ohio with no cat by running HEET in their fuel or methanol.
Doesn't work in states with NoX/dyno smog test AFAIK..
He also knew how to tune the ECU so it was tricked out.

Exactly - I know in Indiana there is only 2 testing locations left. If you go up there they will fail you on visual inspection for no catalytic converter. On top of this there really aren't any "tricks" anymore with EFI vehicles. Your best bet being the old HEET, E85, and advancing a litte... The thing is - every action has a reaction.
