Default Cam Swap. Worth It?

Would it be worth it to pull a JDM D15B cam and put it in a D16Z6 head with a 3 angle valve job, supertech springs, retainers and valves and raising the rev limit to 8000 or is the Z6 cam good enough? Shooting for around 300 whp. Vitara pistons and Eagle H rods, ARP head studs, stock everything else.

Little off topic, but will oem Z6 retainers and keepers work with Supertech valves and springs?

The D15B uses the same cam as the D16Z6. There have been rumors and one guy found that one of every dozen D15Bs has a more aggressive cam.

The B series is a dual cam, larger displacement, and has a different bore and stroke. That's why it is a more powerful motor.
