car doesn't idle fast when cold...help!
I have been trying to figure this out for weeks now, here is the problem... in the morning when i start my car instead of idleing at 1500 rpm(or there abouts) it has trouble keeping 700 steady. after i warm up the car everyhting is fine because warm idle speed should be around 700. the car is an integra, 96 GSR. i have intake and that is all i have done. any ideas??
Also when i use my AC the car has a hard time keeping an idle.

do a tune up... fuel filter, spark plugs check wires and do timing.....if all that fails its the fast idle valve, which is located under the throttle body
Fast idle thermo valve....take it off (3 10mm screws under TB) and use some duct tape or vinyl and wrap the SOB in it. Replace the valve like that and bada bing bada boom, no more FITV, no more bad idle.
That'd be the first thing I'd check other than a blatant open vacuum line.

hey...about that FITV..is there any way some one can get a picture of that beast I have looked and looked but cann't find it. I am thinking that it is on the back of the IM 2 12mm bolts? Help i can't stand the lurching idle any more!!!!!!!1
