Ok so, a wile ago my friends and i where talking about dream builds and twin charged stuff.
Just jokingly i throw out the idea of putting a t5 turbo off each exhaust port and then running it though ITBs. Now i know right now you're sitting there thinking of reasons why this concept sucks (And yes, i said the same thing), but honestly from an engineering stand point it almost makes sense. Running each cylinder through it own turbo allows for you to push almost a 1/4 of the pressure you would normally run though a small turbine, less intake pressure=efficiency. Theoretically speaking this would then give you more room to push the engine (as a larger turbo would) without tremendous amounts of lag on the lower end of the band.

All that being said, something about this still sound wrong?

I know i'm probably not gonna do this anytime soon, hopefully it inspires someone else to pioneer this invention. IDK

how do you think those helical cut cam gears are going to work out???

That is some Crazy tight fab work^... yeah my assumption seem to be currect, i just wonder if it would work that well on a 4cyl though. I feel like I have to attempt this now, I mean what's the worst thing that could happen.

 

There is isnt enough room for it to happen without MAJOR modifications, and the turbos cant side on their sides like in your cad drawing but i know that was just for effect. The time effort and money spent would far out weigh the positive results of it all, just running a single properly sized turbo will do the same thing.
