i have been trying to get this car running properly for over a month now. i have tried everything i could think of to get it running

it is throwing code 4 which is ckp sensor. (crank position sensor)

i have rewired and rewired and rewired. then i wired b10 and b12 straight to the distributor to see if there was a problem somewhere in my wiring harness.

Still throwing code 4

tried to check the resistance at the distributor. about 370 ohms checked at the wires at the ecu clip 370 resistance.

said efff it try a new distributor anyways

Tried a new distributor (different not new) 3 times.

STILL CODE 4!!!!!

MY QUESTION is...... Is code four ckp sensor associated to teh wires going from b10 and b12 (crank angle sensor, or is it associated with wires c1 and c2 (cylinder position sensor)

and also are there any other suggestions???????

Keep in mind c1 and c2 are already wired from the ecu clip to the distributor as there are no wires running in the harness for the cylinder position sensors from a dpfi car.

 

Have you tried swapping the pins around?

 

my car is doing the same thing i have a d15b1 with a6 cam in an ex sedan already mpfi with a6 im also bandnew dizzy and still the code 4 i am clueless PLEAS HELP ME,
this is the only post i could find even close to my problem.
i have tryed other ecus and swapped b10 and b12 also c1 and c2,HELP ME SOMEONE ANYONE LOL.
