okay so my suspension is currently function&form type 1's on my eg sedan. i have function7 lcas, function7 subframe, type r sway bar, and blox endlinks. after installing everything it was fine, ran smooth, and handled well.
then all of a sudden this horrible noise started. checked everything and noticed my endlink was loose. tightened it, checked everything and now the noise seems to be the same or worse. checked everything again today and re installed the endlinks.
my car handles well, it doesn't feel like its all over the place but this noise is really bugging me, its really loud and sounds like a bad rubbing??
does anyone have the same experience? do i need function7 endlinks? i have no idea and have asked around for a while and no one seems to know whats causing this problem.
thanks again.

what kind of rubbing does it sound like Metal on metal, rubber on metal etc? Is the sound constant or inconsistent? Does it happen when you hit a bump or reach high speeds? "the noise" is a bit too vague for anyone to tell you over the internet whats going on!

didn't realize i was being vague, sorry about that. i honestly can't tell what kind of noise it is. it could sound like rubber on metal. its only when i have to go up a hill, or over a bump, or little dips in the road. basically anytime im not on flat ground. when its flat surface i can't hear anything. the noise is consistent. when i lower my car from being jacked up it make the noise when the tires touch the floor. i checked if anything looked out of place when the tires touched and saw nothing.
these are blox adjustable endlinks
i also heard that endlinks are supposed to be straight up. completely vertical. mine were kind of slanted and the other day i straightened them out to the fullest. still not completely straight but its barely off.

So hitting bumps, you hear grinding. Do you hear any popping, rattling?
I have blox endlinks, and they so ****ing loud, I want to shot my self just driving down the road. handles well.
Getting these endlinks straight can be kind of difficult. I needed to use washers to do it. If they aren't completly vertical, it's not that bad. Them being straight is ideal though.

really?! i didn't know they were loud! its weird cause when i threw them on they were quiet then started getting super loud, couldn't even hear them when i put them on! its not a popping or a rattling. sounds like a nasty rubbing! anything thats not flat i hear it. going in my drive way. over bumps. little dips. not turns unless the ground is uneven! a couple of my friends have the same sway bar and endlinks and their's doesn't make noise at all
anyone have pictures of the endlinks installed??

Some people don't. My endlinks only lasted about a year. Others have gotten 2+ out of them.
These are just guesses. I have no clue if it this is the issue.
A quick way to tell is to un hook them from the sway bar, and see if the noise continues.
Also, could be a wheel bearing.
