Default question on making z6 wire harness

Hey all,

I'm trying to hook up my z6 motor in my 1991 Civic Hatch dx.
The previous owner had no clue what he was doing and now I'm working from a flawed start.
I have my stock dx 1.5 engine harness, but the distributor plug wires have been ****ed with. I also have to get another harness to add the 2 additional injectors. Just wondering which harness I need to buy to obtain the additional plugs? I'm just attempting to complete the imperfect switch to mpfi so that I can hook up my jumper harness to my p28 ecu to complete the switch to obd1.

I apologize if this has been asked before, but I've searched around and didn't find anything specific to my motor/harness situation.

Thanks

Your beat bet to make sure you have all the correct plugs will be to get a harness that matches the motor. You will NOT use the harness, only the plugs. From the donor harness you will use the following plugs:
Oxygen sensor
Distributor (both plugs)
Fan switch (on thermostat housing)
Vtec solenoid
Vtec oil pressure
Injector plugs all 4 (assuming you have the z6 injectors)

You will need to wire in a resistor box and obtain the correct injector plugs if you go with resistor style injectors.

If you need a new harness built feel free to txt me, pics of my work in the link below.

Thanks for the reply! I thought that's how I should do it, but double checking never hurt anyone right?

The only other thing I wonder is if it matters what year z6 civic I get a harness from? I hear there are subtle differences between 92-93 civics and 94-95 civics. Something about the MAP sensor wiring, any clue?

Thanks again!

...so, anyone got a spare z6 engine harness kicking around? haha

Doesn't matter, your not going to use the wiring just the plugs
