I had the z6 head on the stock motor for about 4k miles until i got water in it and blew the bottom end. So i put the z6 head back on the orignal block ( it was sitting at my house ) and put it in my car. I noticed oil seeping out from where the head and block meet. It was at the exhuast side at the corner of the engine. I tightned the head bolts to spec and it slowed down alot. I tightened them a little bit beyond and it went away ( to the naked eye) but im still getting oil in that area all over the front of the motor, down between the engine/tranny, and all over the oil pan. I got out the dye and a UV light to trace it and its still coming from that area. Im not leaking any coolant though or seeing any oil in my coolant reservior. The head gasket was the single peice of metal from the head kit to lower compression a tiny bit as what ive seen from multiple threads around here. Is there any specific spot on the block that could let oil get out but not coolant as well? I dont understand how im leaking oil at the head area but not loosing any coolant...Any help will be appreciated. Im gonna try to get some photos tonight.

This is the best pic I could get. Im getting a decent drip all the way down to the oil pan and leaving small puddles. Its also leaking beneath the dizzy. So my leak extends from the front to the side smh.

I will def. have to look into the copper spray. I saw some other threads where guys have had stuff on the gasket surface. Thanks for the tips.
