Mounted Object on Battery

So first i have a 94 integra 4dr the battery is dead and i need a new battery theres this red object on my battery that im completely clueless of.
None of my friends parents or brother know whats it is
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what it is and if i take it off to get a new battery will i have to re use it?
All the extensions coming out are grounded there not attached to anything important just all completely grounded.
Can anyone help me and tell what it is?...What it does?....and will it hurt anything from taking it off?
It is a "multi-point" grounding kit, spelled J U N K, remove it and get the stock grounding cable, or pick up a "universal" one of the correct length at your local car parts shop.
If you have an amp that is powered off the batt. you can add a "beef-up" ground cable from the stock batt. clamp to the cars chassis, [shock tower studs work well], using the same gauge cable as the amps power cable. 94
