hey guys... i need help on my car... my car was park for 2 days and when i start the car... it wont start up.. the engine does turn over.. a buddy of mine is a acura dealer machanic and he doesnt seems to kno wats the problem.. we tried swapping out 2 dizzy.. 2 ecu.. check all grounding.. but nothing.. the reason why the car wouldnt start cuz theres no spark through the sparkplug.. we even switch the dizzy wire that connect to the sparkplug... i do have an after market alarm but there no kill switch.. the car was running fine until i park it there for 2 day... no check engine light is on... help me?

switch 2 distributor and still wont fire... there is power running through the distributor.. but wont spark

 

when you swapped out the new dizzy, did you check the spark plug wire on the dizzy to make sure its in the right order?

 

yes we check it.. just cant figure why theres no spark.. dizzy is in working condition and does have power with the test meter we have...

Why do you think it's spark and not fuel?

 

I assume one of the dizz's that you tried was one that is a known working dizz correct? And you say you are getting power to the power wire to the dizz (I believe its yellow or white with blk stripe--check the helms schematic) only thing I can think of if this is so is that there is a short grounding the power out.
I have had several cars with alarms that would not start--no spark and I ended up removing the alarm. I believe alarms are more of a hassle than they are worth. just my .02 cents

 

we check the fuel already.. its working... the coil has been switch from a running car and dizzy too... im thinking the same as you Fonkernuckle.. mostlikely its the alarm that causing it to happen.. we've tried searching for all the grounding possible to see if there is any corroding or any short circuit somewhere.. all fuse has been check too... i guess the next thing i can try to uninstall my alarm and rewire up back to original to see if that will work.. thanks guys
