Default ek ls swap ?'s

i have a whole running 94 integra LS b18b1 that i bought for the motor swap. Im getting an ek hatch shell saturday and wanted to get the ls into it right away cuz it will be my only car. I went and bought a 2000 civic si t bracket already but i heard that a 94 integra is obd1 and the ek will be obd2a? i need to get this swap in and im trying to use everything off of the integra and not have to buy anything. is that possible to make it work just with what i have? If not what is the cheapest easiest way to go about this?

In theory since I have not done this myself. You will need the original wiring harness from the b18 so all the plugs will be correct and a jumper harness so you will be able to plug it into your computer. You will need new motor mounts so it will fit correctly. Other than that you should be good to go. But be sure it is an obd1 motor and not a obd0. Those engines were made during the crossover.

I have a 98 ek with an obd1 ls swap. I can't remember off the top of my head but I know if your planning on using the integra ecu you will need a obd1 to obd2 ecu jumper harness, a obd1 to obd2 dizzy harness, and a couple other things.

Check out the faq sticky at the top of this thread and there should be a swap section with obd1 to obd2 wiring information. I would link it to you but I'm on my phone. Good luck bro.

False, the stock civic harness is used for this swap. And the b18a1 is the obd0 motor. Which ended in 93.

This is the link to the FAQ. It should answer just about all your questions.

dont quote me but i think you need a obd2 dizzy and alternator just so you wont splice wires and you have to get the engine harness for your year civic and a obd step down harness to run a chiped p28 a hydro tranny and you can use all the 2000 si mounts

obd2 dizzy wont fit on an obd1 motor. I had one on mine for a while and it leaked oil everywhere. And only si mount you need is the back one. Reuse all the others.

If the hatch is a 96-98 you will need
Complete b18b1 swap
Si T bracket, Si drivers side post mount, and ex trans mount
Reuse civic harness. Make or buy a distributor jumper harness, change the alternator plug to the one from the integra, and the injector clips from the integra.
Obd2a to Obd1 jumper harness
Obd1 p75

i found a good deal on an obd2a ls ecu and distributor, will the obd2 distributor go right on and work fine ? then all i need is to put the injector clips and the alternator plug on from the integra? and i already have the em1 t bracket from b16 and im using the integra mounts from what i read that will work fine..

It will fit the OBD1 motor and OBD0 as well physically. Not sure what happened in your case but they are essentially the same head casting wise and distributors have been used interchangeably multiple times. If you want this to be the easiest wiring wise you'll want to:

-reuse your factory harness. Convert from 3 wire to 2 wire on the IACV (see pic). You will also have to run the intake air temp sensor into the intake arm or convert it over to the round style.

-use an OBD1 P75 ECU with an adapter harness. The OBD1 B18 doesn't have the CKF sensor. You can try to bypass it and run an OBD2a ECU if you want but the OBD1 ECU eliminates that the secondary O2 sensor. Also it'll take care of the EVAP purge issue you may have.

-find an OBD2 LS distributor or use an OBD2-1 distributor adapter and use the dizzy that came with it. Some people have used the D series distributor only using 1 or two mounts.

-you can use the OBD1 injectors but you'll need to remove the blue connector inside your injector plugs and then it will plug in. See pic:

-the alternator has a different plug. Either find an OBD2 LS alternator. Or if it possible try this:
