Car is starting to rust more in the back =\ any ideas? should i just get a new back quarter panel? I was on the highway at night time and hit something I dont know what it was but it broke the clip and now its hanging on my a zip tie

That sucks but you should have been able to tell something was up by the bubbling in the paint. If you really like the car I would invest in getting new quarter panels put in. Also check the other side more than likely there is going to be some rust there too. good luck bro

Sorry for the late response I have been busy, but yes I love the car and its color, I guess ill save up for the new quarter panels and might as well get everything on the body fixed and re painted. Thanks for the advice/help

 

The reason I asked if you really liked the car is because sometimes its easier/cheaper to find another shell and swap everything from car to car.

Like recently one of my buddies sold a car that I put so much work into because there was rust on the qp's. I was very pissed and he lost a lot of money opposed to getting new qp's put in to keep the value up. Depending on where you go it can be expensive but worth it IMO

 

Idk I might just buy another eg coupe because this one is on a rebuilt title so no matter what I do to it the value wont be so high. Bought it for 2500 with a gsr motor
