My list would be as follows Progress < Koni/GC < AMR Engineering. AMR and PIC Selects are about the same price when you go through Andy@AMR and get the HT discount. You get custom rates, awesome customer service, awesome quality and a lifetime warranty to boot. Check out their thread in the sponsor marketplace. PIC is a great guy to, but I hear that lately people are having trouble getting in contact with him. Also with the PIC's you only get a one year warranty.

Funny that you are complaining about teins. As another member said on here "teins are the only coilover that get worse as the price goes up." I had a set on my dc2 and hated them.

PIC what?

Take a look at AMR if your looking into the selects. About the same price, but Andy's are custom made, and come with a life time warranty. Not bashing PIC, but's going to be extremily difficult to beat what Andy offers.

Koni/gc is great too!!

If your looking in the $600 range, it's Progress.
$800 -Koni/gc
$1000ish- PIC
$1200 -AMR.

They shouldn't have any issue getting you that low.

I remember his name for the life of me, but he's got an accord with them, and he's slammed.

I'd spoon my eyes out with a spork before I'd buy SS's again.

Andy of AMR is dumped.

Remember, it's a custom designed shock catered to your needs. If you tell them what you want you'll get it.

So yes, he can certainly designed a shock with stiff rates and appropriate damping.

Your gonna love them. I'm on my 3rd set and will only use this brand for any of my cars! My DB8 is pretty low, once it stops raining here I'll post pics.
