PIC and the koni gc combo are by far the most popular options, and with good reason. the cost & performance is hard to beat. just curious, which teins do you have and what do you want your next setup to do that these aren't?

PIC is awesome! Customer service is great, they missed my call and 15m later they called me back and I'm up in Canada. Answered all my questions and were able to make suggestions based on what I wanted (aggressive drop, ride comfert, etc) Their site has good info on their products and basic info on coilovers in general. Wasn't looking for anything too stiff so just settled for their Apex 8k/6k. Dropped me around 3" and still have room to go. Ride is pretty good, can't complain.

Price is great, haven't had any problems since install. Great height adjustment, not to mention you're adjusting the lower body and not messing w/ the preload. I would do these again if they made it for my new car.. too bad they don't =(

It wasn't until last min. that my local shop suggested these and I looked a bit more into it, but a bit harder to find reviews unlike gc/koni or function form. Overall I'd recommend them to you!

i can personally vouch for their excellent customer service...good company. def the best of the "budget coilovers"

im running pic selects on my crx(see sig)

they have been great so far. i do wish i could adjust bound and rebound separately but for the price that isnt possible

The PIC's are realllyyy good and def a quality coilover. My friend has them on his EK hatch and I love them and he is also really happy with them. The PIC Selects are 8-way fully adjustable. They will probably be my next choice for full one piece coilovers. I say go for it!

I run a set of PIC apex (no dampening adj.) 10K front, 8K rear. on my 91 Hatch. I feel that it is really really really really bouncy. I had it on for a couple of months now, and I'm really considering a different setup. It handles like it's on rails.... only on really straight smooth pavement. Other than that, it bounces like it's on airbags.... pretty embarrassing, not only that, it's getting really annoying.

Anyone else have this problem with PIC Apex?

drop the spring rates. 10k/8k is pretty stiff on the street. that's what's bouncing. put the 8k up front and order 6k's for the back. it will smooth it out a bit

^ Agree. Your rates are too stiff imo, I have the Apex 8/6 like i wrote above and I'm tucking wee bit tire and it rides fine. So it's either your rates, or yes, your just dummped!

I've been daily driving pic select 10k/8k for 2yrs. Smooth as silk. Not bouncy at all. I find it hard to believe the apex'es would be bouncy unless they are damaged.

With that said, I think 10k/8k is about as high as you would want to go on a street car.

Yea I guess the spring rate is the problem, because I'm not lowered that much at all (1 finger gap all around)
Before installing each corner, i made sure I'm able to slightly rotate the spring in it's position. i didnt want to preload it so that it was really tight, where i couldnt even move the spring. Should i loosen it even more?

Would PIC allow me to exchange the springs? or is that out of the question...
