Crank Sensor Problem
98 GS, b18b1, stock ecu. I bought an OBD1 ecu for it so I left the crank sensor off (rebuilt the block). My question is, how will it run with no crank sensor on the OBD2 ecu? Timing advanced? Retarded? Be fine?
I had a friends of mines honda not even start and trow cel for ditsributor just for it not beng plugged in all they way...looked over everything so many times..
Probly be good just to stay wit obd1 ecu..or put it back in and stay obd2,or for just incase you ever need to use your obd2 ecu

It's not a crank position sensor, its a crank fluctuation sensor. The crank position sensor is in the distributor. The crank fluctuation sensor detects misfires on OBD2 Honda's/Acuras. The OBD1 ECU doesn't look for this. It will run fine.
