The driver's side door lock has stopped working! I got the doo panel off, and managed to somewhat disassemble the handle/lock mechanism, but a) couldn't detach the thing from this metal bar that presumably opens the door and b)figure out how to remove the lock.
Can I do this myself? Found nnothing online, and no books locally (would have to order - 10-15 business days).
Also, I assume swapping driver's side lock for passenger side is no big deal, right?
And help is appreciated!
