1996 civic dx coupe.... B18b1 swap?
Im wondering how hard it would be to put a b18b1 into my 96 dx coupe.
I know i need:
94 and up ted axles
B series shift linkage (anything specific?)
B series mounts. Probably hasport or something
Will i run into any wiring problems? I was thinking it would be plug and play cause d16y7 isn't vtec.
This wouldn't be my first motor swap. Just making sure i understand the situation before i go for it and encounter problems i wasn't expecting.

Im guessing you have not looking in the FAQs.
That is one of more simpler swaps. The harness would be plug and play.
You would also need the rear T bracket and post mount from a 99-00 civic SI

oh and for this swap you would also need a obd2a ecu. obd2a n obd2b are different
for the shift linkage any hydro b series shift linkage would work

Thanks a lot for the reply. I searched the FAQ but really couldnt find anything on it.
So pretty much drop it in and everything will plug in with no problem?
Just need obd2a ecu and rear t bracket and si mount?

You will need:
-96-98 P75 ecu, or a 94-95 P75 ecu with a stepdown harness.
-94-01 integra/99-00 Si shift linkage.
-94-01 integra/99-00 Si axles
-99-00 Si rear t-bracket
-Don't forget to rewire the IACV wires at the ecu.
-94-01 integra/99-00 Si lower torque mount bracket
Other than that the whole thing is drop in and plug and play. I would recommend upgrading the driver side upper mount; the stock jelly mounts tend to break.

I was thinking about buy some hasport mounts or something like this?

Is that the t bracket i need with the mounts?

The only sensor that you will have to rewire is the IACV, your car has a 3 wire sensor, everything else is 2 wire. You basically need a 2 prong plug from any harness and you swap 2 wires at the ecu and disconnect a third. Type it into google images and the ff-squad pinout will come up.
