Default replacing the transmission and clutch tomorrow...d16

what are all the fluids ill need to swap in the new transmission? d16z6 setup with s20(si) tranny.

At least 2 quarts of 10w30 motor oil or oem honda manual trans fluid,some grease to grease up the input shaft/throw-out bearing and some beer.

hahahaha yea man for sure. ive been rockin a stock slipping clutch and a poppy/grindy second and third gear for a while now, cant wait to get on it a little bit after i break the clutch in

but yea thanks i was just makin sure i had the right oil

honda mtf i'v used regular oil and blown many trannys not sure if it had anything to do with it but now i only use honda mtf. some brake clean to clean the flywheel and other parts

i used to put n honda mtf in my eg tranny.

i can't remember but i think it was 94EG8 who said honda mtf was only for 96-00 d16 transes, pre 6th gen civics were built to have 10w-30 in them

i use enos trans oil just saying but all you need is 2 jacks a friend with a strong back and time i did my tranny swap in 5 hours with one air tool in the dark on the ground

10w30 because it will last longer and won't burn as fast as 5w30.
