I have a d16y7 1998 and the tranny is hydro but does a cable clutch fit in a hydro tranny ??
and are the spline the same cable or hyrdo ??
and are the clutch and flywheel the same size ??

idk about sohcs but I put a clutch out of a hydro gsr tranny into my ls cable tranny and had no probs

Just order a clutch for your car.

 

Different spline count, it unfortunately doesn't work.

 

It will work as long as its not for a 88 or 89 Civic/CRX. The 88s have a different spline size. The 89's have a different clutch disc material size. 90-00 are the same and are interchangeable.


88 CRX (all) 190 mm clutch/21 splines
89 CRX (all) 200 mm clutch/20 splines
90-91 CRX (all) 212mm clutch/20 splines
