Default Really Hate Ohio roads

Driving home through the normal construction so not speeding, or doing anything stupid and did not see the pipe with no cones around this one smashed that one along with my oil pan laying in the middle of the street with my oil. (hopefully got my engine off quick enough), So filled out police report cop told me yea its bs everyones been damaginging car including him in a cruiser today, you think they would freaking rope it off or close it WTF . Anyone ever have any luck fighting city hall in theses cases. One negative I have against me is im lowered. I took pics already though and ready to call and try fight the man in the am and call the insurance agent in am.

2nd question is, if I go insurance rout and thinking oil pan and labor maybe etc parts 600-700 -250 dec. I've seen soom ppl able to be cut a check and go to desired shop of choice. I was thinking if I could get the check and pick up a k24 bottom end any thoughts.

I bent my rim due to a terrible pothole in my city. This was a larger rim too (16") with a normal size tire on it (not on a honda). Took pictures, sent them down, no action was taken. These rims are no longer made and aren't stock and this one probably can't be fixed.

Call an attorney it is the highway departments fault for not blocking off the area.

You seem to have some proof that there was other damage caused by the same problem area.

There was a case like that here in Pa. just this summer the Penndot. decided they were going to tar and chip roads, and did nothing about removing the excess chips killing off tons of paint work and windshields.

The people got paid, but I strongly suggest a lawyer a young one just starting out would love a case like this.
