Headers -- EM1 -- What wont interfere /w PS/AC
As the title says,
Does anybody have any insight as to what headers will NOT interfere with Power steering/AC lines?
I've done a bit of digging and cannot find much on it, most of the information is horribly scattered and impossible to sort through.

for a turbo or just regular header? if just a regular header than egay has any header that fits a b-series if youre talking about a turbo manifold than find one that says AC and PS compatible
I'm not planning to turbo anytime soon, maybe down the road, at this moment I'm looking at replacing the OEM exhaust mostly due to it ALL rusting out...
I've considered looking at ebay for headers, I've... just heard nightmares from cheap ebay parts is all
I've found some local sellers trying to move their old DC sport headers, they are ALL beat up and have been bottomed out VERY badly, its sad really.

Right, I'm mostly trying to make sure all of my ducks are in a row before I make a bad investment and get something that wont fit...
I'm going to be at tops 1.5in lower than OEM here within the month, I refuse to go lower

and i have an ebay header there is really no point to get a expensive header for not really a hp increase
i havent seen any oem or aftermarket headers for b series that cause ac ps clearance issues... if you want problem free. jus get a oem one from a stock b16 or gsr...
like top posts say.. only problem you might have with aftermarket headers is scraping buttom header from being low

I'm ... working on replacing everything from headers back then, replacing the cat (poor condition and ... 11 years old at this point) and bolting on an Apexi WS II kit.
From what I've been reading, most headers don't give a real HP gain, just sound.

Lab test B16 header dyno numbers
I love the fit and feel of my 5zigen 4-2-1 B16A header. Definite gain in mid range, but have yet to dyno mine, but from the dyno tests in the link I feel it right where they proved I should.

Fit: Any B series header will fit without interfering with power steering or AC lines. EBay, Toda, RMF, etc. With the B16, your main concern will be finding one that is built for a B16. The B16's shorter deck heigh necessitates a slightly shorter height header to keep it from hanging too low.
Power: Some of the expensive ones will make more power. You have a few things to look for, design and construction. Either tri-y for mid range power, or a 4-1 for top end, or a tri-y with long primaries to be a good compromise and best of both. Look for a header with smaller diameter primaries, the large tube ones are meant for large displacement higher output 2.0 engines. And "anti reversion" steps in the tubes to act sort of like a check valve for exhaust pulses.
When you get down it, an eBay header is a good deal. Cheap and what you gain with an expensive header is the name, a little more durable material, and 2-5hp more for another $800
If you had a B18, I'd suggest the ITR header. I think it may sit sort of low on your engine however. It's worth looking into though.

Well, considering I just ordered a new cat and Apexi WS2 system, I'll be giving it a go with the stock manifold, if it doesn't sound how I want it to, I'll go digging through the ebay postings and find one that is worth it, they attempt to get tricky and state it will fit any motor but ONLY with a JDM cat... pshaw to that.
Just be weary of those cheap $50 ebay headers, warped flanges, cracked welds, sub standard runners or just plain worse dyno numbers than a stock cast manifold. Just keep in mind, you get what you pay for....
