Default Apexi Noir vs WS2

I've tried to find photos of both and still cant decided. I want a exhaust that looks close to stock and both I feel fit that mold. Question is which fits best? I have a 99 Civic Cx, and have seen picture where the tip seems to stick out and other shots where the tip seems flush with the bumper.

In short I want something discrete that doesn't draw unwanted attention. Logically the Noir system makes sense being flat black, but how many stock civic do you see with flat black exhaust? So the WS2 at least to me looks closer to stock, just a little more fancy.

So which would you pick if given the choice?

Seriously a waste of money if that cx has a single cam still in it.

why not, because the exhaust is worth more than the d16?

Have you thought about going the custom route? When I had my del sol I wanted basically the same thing that you want so I went with custom piping and a magnaflow oval out back. Looked stock and sounded good. No resonator on it just 2.5" piping back to a 2.5" magnaflow oval that was center/center design. Probably going to do the same thing with my new civic. KTeller sells bolt on piping kits and you can get a magnaflow oval for 100$. Just bolt it up and take it to an exhaust shop to weld on the muffler.

Do not go 2.5 for a stock engine, trust me, and keep a resonator in to keep down drone.

If your goal is to remain stock style then don't do anything.

People with these cars get exhaust for the sound and a nice tip out the back, not really performance.

For a WS2 look alike and save some money look into the yonaka

A 4" WS2/Noir tip doesn't look stock on any car. If you want something that looks stock, stick with a stock muffler. With a stock motor, you'll be wasting your money anyway. If you don't want attention, don't put something that's going to sound "nice", "great", etc. Esp. a 2.5" exhaust.

If you want it to look nice, get an Si exhaust and get some steel wool and go to work on the canister.

only thing im not a fan about kteller is that they sent me stainless tubing but steel flanges and hangers. they do sell good priced piping for exhaust and you can get the option of mandrel bent piping for smoother exhaust flow.

Neither. I had a WS2 on my GSR and it was heavier than stock. It looked good and had a decent tone but held back my performance. Get a straight through design muffler. Especiallty if you plan on swapping that motor out or boosting it. For now get a SI, or Type R muffler if you really hate the stock muffler.

Just do it. People have their opinions. It's your car. I would go with Noir by the way.
