Default exhaust piping question

im running on a stock cx motor with i/h...my plans are to drop a d15 in but i dont have the money for it right now...should i go for 2.25" piping or 2" with the cx motor? will 2.25 reduce my backpressure noticably more than say 2"? when i do drop the motor i will likely be more happy with 2.25 correct?

If this will be hand made crush bent pipe I'd say 2 1/4. More than 2 1/4 will give no real benefit (from every thing I've read anyway!).

Anyone else want to put in their two scents.
