Default HELP HELP

on my dash board the "brake" light is on after i take out the hand brakes off its still on. .. i saw some forums saying that might be the brake fluid level. question is if i open the master cly do i have to bleed all the brakes? and my abs fluid is low is that why the light might be on?

OK SO THE BRAKE LIGHT IS ON AND SO IS THE ABS. DID YOU RECENTLY DO YOUR BRAKES OR HAD SOMEONE DO IT. THE ABS COULD BE A BAD ABS UNIT. BAD ABS SENSOR. OR JUST THAT THE ABS RESERVOIR DOESNT HAVE ENOUGH BRAKE FLUID IN IT. IS THE FLUID OK ON THE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR?

No you don't have to bleed the brakes when you open the brake fluid reservour to add fluid. Make both are filled (ABS and Master) ans see if that helps. There is also a spring loaded switch under the emergency brake lever. When you pull up, it springs out and the light comes on. When the lever pushes down on it the light goes out. So it can't be stuck, it's either loose and moved out of place or broken if it's the e-brake switch.

IVE HAD MINE GET STUCK THE SPRING WAS MISSING MUST HAVE BEEN WHAT I HEARD WHEN THE BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON. SEE I SOMETIMES DRIFT MY ACCORD ONE TIME I PULLED THE E BRAKE AND I HEARD A CLING SPRING LIKE SOUND AND THE E BRAKE STAYED ON AND THE METAL SLEEVE WAS BENT ALL THE WAY BACK WHEN I OPEN THE SWITCH. MIGHT BE WHATS WRONG WITH HIS THATS Y I POINTED IT OUT AS WELL.

Yep very possible. If that spring flys out the switch popped apart and default would be a light.

Because that's what it implies. Online etiquette yo! Kind of like when you want to add emphasis to something you will italicize it, or sometimes bold it. Or the cu-de-gras of emphasis, italicized, bold, capitalized, and change the size to let the world know that you are
AWESOME!!!

Nope the abs reservoir is on the left side in front of the car. You know that device with metal hoses coming out of it. I can see it in your picture. The brake fluid reservoir is on the rignt side like I circled.. And you filled your brake reservoir with FUEL???????? I see that your power steering fluid is low too.

yea i filled it up and the light off thanks....

for the power steering i got a bad leak. the top hoses has a leak. i bought 4 bottles to fill the power steering fluid. .. when i got it check they wanted more then 450$. i found the part for 80$ just dnt know how to replace it.

Also when i back up from a part lot the steering is a lil hard to turn. but after i get on the road it go easy to turn but if i let go of the steering wheel it will go a little to the right.

dude you can bet the seals are going to get damaged inside the brake fluid reservoir with that fuel!! fuel only goes in the gas tank. brake fluid onlyl, if you would have read the cap on the resevoir it says brake fluid only

Lets hope he meant fluid and not fuel jdm. Sheeeh. You need to fix that powersteering leak too Dude. That's not gonna get any better pouring fluid through it and the day you run it dry, you stand the chance of siezing the pump.

Its easy bro. At the power steering pump theres two bolts then folow the rest of the hose and remove those other two bolts take off the hose and put the new one in. what I do is go to autozone and find a unwrapped chiltons manual for the car im working on and take a lok thru it hahaha
