I'm removing the old grease and putting new grease on a used window regulator I bought.
I'm replacing the grease on the "scissor's" teeth and also the grease inside the window motor's gear box. I believe white lithium grease is supposed to be used for everything but the old grease doesn't look like white lithium grease.
So should I use white lithium grease for everything or are there other greases I should use?
Would white lithium grease be ok for the rubber o-ring seals in the gear box?

 

I have always used white lithium with no problems.

 

Have you also used it in the window motor gear box? I'm worried it might not be good for the rubber seals.

 

yeah same here I had always used the white lithium grease never had a single problem.

I've used anti seize before which is mostly graphite. I'd use white lithium which we know works.
