Like title says, I just bought a 97 hatch. Has 99-00 front conversion. What's the first thing I should do to it? Engine Bay, Exterior, Interior, Suspension, Chassis, Anything.

Pictures are bad quality, tooken from an ipod

just bought a car?.... maintenance bro... alll the maintenance you can think of ..spark plugs, wires, pcv. ETC ETC... and then security (alarm, clutch lock w.e )... AND THEN do what you like....for me id do exterior (window visor, lip, grill, w.e you like). then suspension (something with adjustable height),... final would be wheels for me

Maitence, than suspension. Springs/coilovers, shocks, sway bars, etc.

This is after you buy an alarm.

Whenever possible, please just place the tech question directly into the thread title - edited.

Thanks a lot guys. The car came with a set of lips. Mugen front lip and type r rear. Also came with an ebay exhaust which sucks as heck. Rattles when I'm driving around 55mph. Not sure what is it but it is right on the type r rear lip so I'm guessing that's causing the rattling sound. I'm planning to get rid of all those stuff. I'm done with maintenance, probably going with the exterior first and work my way into the car. How much would it cost for a viper alarm system?

It depends on the type of alarm you are looking at, 2 way/1 way. But you can easily blow $500-600

I wouldn't do anything to it.

You could... Wax it?

You could take your wipers off and repaint em and put em back on.

I think it already looks pretty good other then that front fender that dosen't look like it matches. Was it wrecked? Is that why it has a different front clip?

Personally, A $500 viper alarm system is just stupid for that car dont waste your money on that.
You could get it repainted, do you know a friend thats a painter? are you a painter? dosent look like you need to do any body work. i would just wax it real good and get a shine if you dont have any connections because a $2000 paint job you can buy a new one.

You could tint the windows that would be cool.

I would just clean it really good, wax it, armour all everything.

You could put a stereo system in! unless it already has one.

Headlights look good wouldnt mess with them

You could get a nice red grille off ebay for pretty cheap?
