Lsvtec in 96 hatch breaks up in high rpm
Just finished my lsv setup in my hatch and when in high rpms the car breaks up sounds like crazy misfire. Rpm gauge goes bananas, jumps from 6k-8k then 0 repeatedly. At first we thought it was the coolant temp sensor bc it was throwing that code, but we figured out we forgot to splice and connect that :facepalm:. Used to only do it once in a while but now everytime it goes into vtec it breaks up. B16a2 head on b18b1 block chipped p28.

didnt gap the plugs at all just bought them and threw them in. fuel system is stock

Check your gaps. If they are NGK's, I bet they will be under .04. I bought v-powers and they were at .033 and they needed to be .044. Same with my NGK iridiums.
ok bringing this back, replaced the dizzy with new cap and rotor and nothing. We pulled the plugs and replaced them did a valve adjustment, the car ran good for 2 days then started to break up again. Car only does it at WOT if i hold it at 1/2 throttle and bring it to like 7k it doesnt do anything... anybody have any suggestions? this is getting really annoying.
