hey my alternator has gone bad i have the new one but do i have to take out the axle to put the new one in???? how do i go about putting the new one in?

Now how in the world did you figure out that your alternator went bad?.. Did it tell you that?.. No, it can't talk.. I'd love to know how you came about with that decision.. It would help a whole lot..

 

ok mang i go thru recharged batts and they die after a couple of hours and i did the check thing for the alternator it was pull the neg cable pff the batt and if the car wants to shut off its ur alternator OK so i am pretty damm sure its the alternator do you have any better ideas???

 

If the alternator isn't charging. Check to see if the Voltage Regulator is dumping the power straight to Ground. You can also check the Rectifier and see if you fried any diodes.. But if it's your Voltage Regulator and it's dumping to Ground, just fix the wiring and same some money..
