General q on what to look for in repairing 2006 Civic
After I bought a used 2006 Civic, my 17 year old kid came home with it looking like the attached pic. I'm still not sure how it happened, but there was no police involvement, and I'm still trying to figure out what other driver(s) were involved. With that said...
I am not a do it yourself-er, so was just wondering what to ask about/look for when I take it around to some body shops. I do not plan on going through insurance as I have a $500 deductible, and I assuming filing a claim would raise my rates.
I had a brief discussion with my mechanic. He did not see the car, but based on my description, he said that the rear quarter panel work could be expensive.
I hope this is not too general of a posting, but I would like to be somewhat of an educated customer when I go to body shops.
Oops, I just realized I cannot post attachments. Is that because I am a new member here??
