Im thinking about buying a salvage s2k with some underbody and what appears to be some light frame damage.
for frame work, is there any special method i should look into? or is it generally the same? I understand that the flex will prob be compromised a bit due to this, so I've already contacted a performance shop that does chassis reinforcement and asked for advice.
So what im asking is what specifically should I ask for at a body shop, and what I should I look out for? I'm going to be keeping this car for 4-5 years so the depreciated value of a salvaged/frame dmged car doesn't concern me at all.
Thanks

If the "frame" (unibody) has damage but it doesn't need replaced, it should be strong enough without extra reinforcing. If some of the structure needs replaced make sure you have a good body guy do it, and you'll be happy.
Can you post some pictures? I'll give you my professional opinion.
