I just bought a 96 Civic EX Coupe. The sunroof & windows are stuck open. Previous owner replaced the window motors. The fuses look fine. Any idea what else it could be?

Also- I'm looking to buy the interior piece that goes around the door handle & manual lock. Someone painted the ones in the car now & it looks terrible. Whats a good place to buy that?

The passenger side window will now roll up- really slow but roll down fast.
The other window and sunroof are still stuck.

You can manually close the sunroof, do you have the owners manual, it has instructions. If not basically you take the wrench from where the spare is (if still there) and you insert it in the hole and turn to shut it.

As for sunroof and windows they are on different fuses, did you check under hood for the sunroof fuse to see it is blown?

As for those pieces you can get them from the dealer, or try ebay.
