GSR w/ itr cams. Gap to gsr spec or itr?
None of the dozens of threads on plug gap bring up whether you need to change gap if you have different cams. But i did read a few discussions relating to compression ratios. I just put in new v power plugs and they seemed to be gapped at .044 and run fine but gsr is supposed to be at .052. Should i leave it at .044 like the itr or use gsr spec?
If gapping has nothing to do with cam durations etc then the discussions about compression ratios are correct?
Curious thing, my friends Honda service manual lists spec for new spark plugs for gsr at 1mm-1.1mm (1.1 being .044).
Not looking for simple "this is what i use" responses cuz.. this is what i use, .044 right now. It also idles about 100rpm higher then it used to.

I run P73 pistons and cams (USDM ITR) in my B18C1 with a little meat taken out of the deck on the head side to bump compression to about 11:1. I usually get the 98 spec type R NGKs from the dealer and just throw them in. No idle issues.
