i have a 1991 ef hatch with a d15b motor
the car has run great till the other day
i replaced the rotor button with a new duralast one and started it up fine and let it idle for a bit
an hour later i went to drive it and was idling really spuratically and wouldnt accept throttle and eventually died
it will do this everytime and when it dies sometimes the timing belt and all that will spin backwards and make a urrrrrrrrr noise and exhaust outta the intake
i cant find any vacuumleaks or anything
is this a common problem?

follow up: it will start and idle now, but sometimes wont take throttle and dies randomly.guessing ad ignition somewhere maybe. when i bought it guy told me the ecu was going and but would that cause this
gonna replace the dizzy soon so maybe it will help
