Car starts everytime but won't stay on!
Just finished a head gasket job on my car and now the car will start but will not stay on for long. If I keep revving it up it will stay on, I tried driving it down the block just to see how it drove and it was jerking like crazy when I gave it any gas....also I have not been able to find my map sensor plug but I dont think it was plugged in to begin with...
Check for vacuum leak, make sure all the vacuum lines are plugged in properly.
Check your valve timing, do not run engine untill you have confirmed valve timing is correct. 94

I have just done a headgasket on my 95 integra and it really sounds like your timing is off when you give it gas it probley dont have the reaction it normally does and does not rev up real hard if thats the case just check your timing and if you still think think you have a vac leak just sprat some WD40 around on your hoses if it dies down you gotta vac leak.
No vac leaks...but I will double check. I also set the motor to TDC and reset the cam timing a second time to be sure. Could it be I'm off a tooth? Or could it be that my MAP sensor is not plugged in? If I'm not actually driving it, the car does rev up fine but there is a slight squeeling here and there....
