all motor prob
hey guys and gals i having a prob with my all motor. At idle my car runs amazing but it is rich, when i start to drive it down the road it starts to dog out and acts like it is running on two cylinders and leans out so much it wont read on the wideband, i have changed the fuel filter, checked the fuel pump and now cleaned out the fuel rail. i have also changed the plug wires and plugs. What do you think i can check before i take it back to the dyno and spend more money?

i had the O2 sensor cleared out of the tune cuz it didnt work so thats where i got my wideband pluged in now, what will pulling the chip out and reinstalling it do? and i called the guy that tuned it and he said he would fix it but i would still have to pay for his time wotking on it cuz he said it is very rare that something in the tune went bad
Is everything still setup to where you can check trouble codes and check engine lights? Try that. Most bad sensors will throw a code.
Consider that ait, map, tps, o2 all affect a/f ratio so it's possible one went bad. And even though you possibly ruled out the o2 there's a chance the ecu can still be looking for it.

On my old prelude, when I turned the O2 sensor off, it would do something very similar. Pulling the ecu/chip would clear it up for about 2 weeks...never could figure out why. Turning your O2 feedback off is never a good idea though, just results in bad fuel economy and less driveability from what I've seen.

simple checks, are any of the header primaries colder than the others? pour couple drops of water on each primary...to identify if there is a dead cylinder
clogged injector could also be problem...

just cleaned the injectors last night and cleaned the fuel rail, and it ran a little better but was still screwing up pretty bad, and i pretty sure i dont have a dead cylinder but ill check those to thank you

i pulled the ecu today and took the chip out and i tried that and now i cant even get it to idle or run for a min. any other ideas you got that i can try
could it still be something in the dizzy or would it be like a map sensor or a throttle position sensor, bad chip or bad ecu i kinda at a loss right now and i dont know what to really look for anymore try a different throttle position sensor and thinking about trying a different dizzy
