my 89 ef keeps poping #1 fuse and i found a loose ground under the dash theres is two the smaller one is the one i need to find out were it goes. and my fan wont turn on or temp guage doesnt work.

 

 

where is the rad fan relay located? it seems like it pops the fuse when the fan should kick on and then i have no dash lights blinker or guages? i just did an obd1 swap ill post pic its hooked to the kick panel

 

The fan relay is near the battery tray in the passenger corner behind the headlights. And you probably poped fuse number 1 in your underdash fusebox.

 

ya i figured out why it was popin fuses led blinker bulbs temp guage and fan still dont work. is there a way to test the relay with a continuity tester? it worked before and when i put my test light in the fan temp sensor plug fan kicks on?
