i currently have a gsr built bottom end making 466hp with a garret gt35r .
i want to do road course and king of the hill racing . so i need a fast spooling turbo , i have 225/50/r15 MT et drags , and as soon as boost hits be 10 psi or 18psi it just breaks loose


what turbo would u guys suggest that will be fast spooling AND be able to still make 400+ hp .

i know u guys will ask for chart so here

 

GT2871 for the best spool and boost by gear for the traction.

 

faster spooling doesnt = more traction, if anything you want the power to come on as smooth as possible

i bet if you turn the boost down and have it come on as smooth as possible you will like that power band compared to 350tq at 4500rpm

i have a 3076r at 450ish whp on the street and 3rd gear i get traction

if you want traction in first gear you will need slicks, 2nd gear boost by gear will do wonders and 3rd gear should be good with 400hp and good tires

 

GT2871R or GT3071R if you have over 9.5:1 compression. GT3076R isn't bad, but a bit big for canyon running.
