I have a 94 accord I have owned for about 7 years now. The gas gauge has never worked since I've owned the car. Most of the time it stays on past full,but occasionally it will give a correct reading for a few minutes then it will go back to past full. Within the past week it started going down to almost empty for a few seconds and then rising back to the past full position. Has anyone else had this problem and how would I fix this? Thanks

 

Could be the sending unit in the tank acting up. OR mabe a bad ground in the dash.

 

Could be a faulty fuel gauge.

 

I think its the fuel gauge as well.
