Default help plz clutch isnt disengaging

hey guys i bought an exedy stage one clutch and a 89 si trans and 89 dx flywheel so i put everythign together and the car wont disengage the clutch i adjusted the cable but it just wont need help asap is the flywheel wrong or what?????

Grab the throw out bearing shaft - can you pull it up easily (a lot of slop) or is it firm?

If it's firm maybe your cable stretched or something bent - if it's lose then the throw out bearing go installed wrong - as far as I am aware the flywheel doesn't matter what model it comes from.

i think the throw out bearing was a pos cuz i took it apart and clutch is cool but the throw out bearing started to fall apart form the inside and it wont spin easily and thanks and sorry for being a dick before

Honestly, I never pay attention to people's names on here - I just take it thread by thread and take nothing to heart - it's just the Internet... So I am sorry, I don't recall what you are apologizing for haha...

Anyways - so you found out the problem? It was the throw out bearing or you just suspect it?

lol its all good and yes it was the throw out bearing it went to **** the center of the bearing went to the side and the whole thing started to fall apart so much for that and i bought a new cable just cuz mine was getting old thanks alot again

i know i was like wtf no gears clutch isnt disengaging nooo took it apart checked everything only thing looked bad was the throw out all chewed up lol
