Default Turbo lsvtec with a dead cylinder…what could be the cause?

I have a stockblock lsvtec turbo motor and i pulled out cyl #2 plug wire and it idled fine unlike when i pulled the other wires…i shined a flashlight into the cylinder and noticed a light imprint of the valve…the car runs decent and doesn't smoke or lose power but i did notice alot of oil on my dipstick after running the car for abit…does this sound like a bent valve or a rings problem…its not losing oil or coolant either…any help is appreciated
