alternator not charging
so i just installed a used obd2 ohio generator high output alternator into my stock obd0 91 crx hf and now i have a battery light that will stay on. i used this link
http://ff-squad.com/wp/?p=425 second table to do the conversion, though my wire matches the color schemes of the third table obd1-obd2, i figure i have an obd0 hf.
now when i go to start my car for the FIRST time after reconnecting the battery, the battery volt will idle at 14.43-14.63 which is what the alternator max output is rated at, but after a min or two the battery volt will go down to 12.6 and lower and my battery light will come on and stay on. when i rev. the engine the volt goes up but it seem that the ecu or eld is telling the alternator to not charge the battery.
did i use the wrong conversion table to convert the obd2-obd0 alternator wire?
will mixing the blue and white/yellow mess up anything(i did use the obd0-obd2 conversion table to do the conversion but same result)?
the battery is a month old. and the alternator seem to be working just for few min then stops.
i did check the ELD mention here: http://autorepair.about.com/library/a/1b/bl634b.htm and everything checks out except step 4 which i got a reading of 3.2volts, i have yet to check the volt when i first start the car after disconnecting the battery, since i can't get my hood open at the moment.

i know i should of tested my alternator but i won't be able to do that til next week since it takes to long to take it out, you can't remove it from the side cause it is bigger than the stock one. i will get the battery tested tomorrow.
here is the rating for the alternator: (rpm mention is 3-3.5 times engine rpm so i think our alternator idle at 1800-2000rpm)
output current at: rpm amp output
1600 1
1800 1
2000 19
2400 64
3500 136
5000 169
6000 177
any help would really be appreciated
