Default 2012 civic hybrid

Not sure if this is the right spot but if anybody owns this car what kind of mileage are you getting and how does it ride?

I was considering getting this car for commuting since i drive mostly in the city.

Why would you pay the extra money for a civic hybrid when a ordinary civic gets such great mileage.

I think you would be able to afford the loss in MPG, if there is one, buying a ordinary civic, pocketing the savings up front.

Good luck to you in which ever car you choose.

Hybrid are a ****ing joke. One of our service advisors couldn't make it up a steep driveway in his, everyone had to get out of the car and he had to come at it with alot of speed to make it up...$25K for that b.s. no thanks. Maybe honda will get of their *** and release some turbo diesels over here at some point

Depending on how much he drives, the Hybrid makes sense.

EPA CITY Numbers:

Hybrid: 44 MPG
HF: 29
DX - EX: 28

2012 prius plug in sounds good and so does the 2012 accord hybrid plug in coming next year. The reason i am asking about the civic hybrid is that it gets much better gas mileage in the city than the regular gasoline version does, around 44 city and 44 highway is what it says for epa gas mileage.

I like them I worked at honda for 3 years and drove many makes and models and I personally liked the civic hybrid, if you are a commuter i think it would be a good investment, just keep up on maintenance and your golden.
