I bought a b16 pulley and am going to put it on my block... is this the best crank pulley to use? whay do you guys suggest.

 

the b16 pulley is designed for hte 1.75 R/S ratio block,

generally, it does not have a rubber harmonic dampner (early JDM ones dont),

i have been told that this may cause premature failure of hte main bearings if used on B18/B20 blocks.

not sure if this is necessarily true, but we'll see what others have to say, particualry Mista Bone...

I got a CTR N1 crank pulley in my b20/vtec. The motor isn't up and running but I don't recall anyone having problems with this pulley before.

i'm using a first gen b16 pulley on my nonvtec b20. no problems thus far *crosses fingers*

 

oh, for the record, i will be using a JDM B16A pulley on my B20VTEC...

hmm im in the same boat.. but i got a b16a2 pulley... any point of putting this on the b18b?
