Default B20 crank pulley

My B20B's crank pulley is hella big compared to the B16's.
Im using a B16 alternator, should I switch over the crank pulley or not?
If Im thinking about this the right way, this will just let the alternator generate more current or while it likely fry it since it never expected to spin so fast ?

You'll be fine either way as long as you get the proper size belt.

I don't know if its related to the Pulley, but I'm using the B20 Pulley and my A/C doesn't get very cold under 1000 rpm's...so thats might be something to think about. During traffic and stuff it sucks, but cruising down the highway at 3000 rpm's its nice and icy.

Also I accidently bought the LS a/c belt cause I forgot that I had the B20 pulley on there, but amazingly enough it fit! The a/c belt tensioner sits about 2mm away from the crank pulley...but hey I got a/c! (no joke I can't stick any of my finger in between the two pulleys)

b16 pully is smaller... use that if you have a choice. unless you got a supercharger that is..

i had to run my b16 pulley as well, because the b20 one would rub against my radius rod, and started to cut though it. that was in a crx though im sure you would be fine in a newer car, theres a lot more room

It's going in a CRX although a EDM model which came with the B16 in it.
Will check on hte clearance issue. Didnt actually think about that one (oops!!)
The B16 Pully I have spare is also bashed and bits are chipped off. Balanced it certinly is not.
