hello i have a 02 em2 with a k20a2 swap. Today i was on the way home from work, when i got on the highway i pulled thru the gears and in 3rd at about 6700 it fell on its face. I pulled over and checked gauges, i then atempted to pull away and it now it will not acc past 2k rpms. I got no cel from this and i drove about 10 miles after the problem occured. i have hondata that i realy dont much about but after i limped it home i pluged in the laptop and i dont c anything but when i do go over 2k the inj voltage drops. i checked the oil and looked for any wires astray but nothing. If anybody can help it would b nice. thanks.

why not save the map you have and try using another map? see how another base map may work.

 

iwill try that but i already refreshed the map i was using and it was no diff

 

it made no diff i think kpro is fing me

why don't you try putting the stock ECU back in, letting the car sit, while on for five minutes and road testing it.

 

i dont have the stock ecm and it is a swap so the key wouldnt match anyway but today i saw the tps it cracked, the plug conecter it in but that side is loose. i havent had any issues with k series but the 1 in my gsr went bad, when it did i still had full funtion exept at wot. does anybody have exp. with broke k series tps. is the funtion the same

 

possibly vtec solinoid or something is restriciting rpm..

 

If ur tps isn't hooked up or broke, your car will run fine, but wo't go passed a certain RPM, it's like a rev limiter. If your tps was broke or the plug was, swap it out, calabrate it and try that.

 

i have been trying to find a used 1 but dont have any luck am i right that it is only for the k series tb
