What do you mean by "redoing"? If you're talking about having to pull the valve cover to reset the cam to TDC after it moves because that crank bolt is a bitch to get off, then no, you probably won't be able to get away with that.

Well, unless you have the tool that locks your flywheel in place and keeps your cam from moving. That's about the only way I see you being able to change a crank pulley without the cam moving, and having to worry about timing being off.

If you don't have the flywheel tool, I'd say go get a new valve cover gasket set and do it right, because the chance that your cam will move is pretty damn high. Not worth risking valve/piston damage over.

If you don't touch the belt, and you insure you don't more anything you shouldn't have to worry about the timing. At least I couldn't see why you would need to.

But, I would deffinetly check the timing, (little tick mark) and insure it's still at tdc before you start the car. Just to be safe.

Or just undo the bolt via impact, in 5th gear while car on ground, or jam something into the flywheel, tap pully with w.e, pull off, place new on and torque to specs.

Unless your tranny is off your engine, you won't be able to access the flywheel like that.
