radiator/coolant fan spin?
I recently replaced the motor on the coolant fan. I was just wondering which way is the fan supposed spin. is it clockwise or counter-clockwise. Because both fans spin in different directions.
My car isn't here to check for you, but it is most likely clockwise as most motors are wound that way.
Best way to be certain is to compare the orientation of the fan blades (which way they curve) and if they're the same, the one you replaced should spin the same way as the original that wasn't replaced.

When I turn on the car an feel the air coming from the fans, the a/c fan blows warm air and the coolant fan blows colder air. I have not had any problems with it heating anymore.
Edit. Never mind, I just looked at mine, the blades are just pitched the opposite direction. So they both pull air through the rad, they just spin the opposite way.
I wonder why they were set up that way?
