Default eg exhaust fitment

hey i have a 94 eg hatch with a gsr in it. i was wondering why when i put my dc headers and my random technologies hi flow cat ( for a 94-01 gsr integra) with either my skunk2 or apexi ws2 catbacks, the exhaust hangers are pushed all the way back and the rear exhaust hangers are hitting that bumper guard in the back? what test pipe or hi flow cat will fit so this doesnt happen? or is that normal?

Yes thats normal, since you have a Gsr swap in an Eg. the Gsr is sort of longer then the Eg, therefore the aftermarket Gsr parts for the the motor will be made to fit the Gsr. Your best bet is to get custom piping fabrication from after the header to the muffler so it fits perfect. I suggest getting a 2 1/4 straight piping from your local shop, i got mine done for 40 bucks.

Why did you ask for advice if you were just gonna do what you wanted anyway? Just so you know if a cop pulls you over and looks under the car and sees you dont have a cat, he can tow your car on the spot. Depending on where your located of course, doesnt seem like a good idear if you ask me.

he might considering its a federal offense no matter where you are.
not worth the risk to easily leave a cat up in there for emissions and so you don't sound like a jar of bees running around town.
