my civic suddenly turns off while driving?
The car starts just fine, but after about a minute or even a couple of seconds after the car dies engine dies, stereo still stays on. I wait couple seconds to turn the car back on and i wait about a minute or so while its in idle. then the car runs fine. Until the next time i start it. I dont want this to happen anymore so if anyone can help me fix it i would appreciate it. I dont know if this helps but its a brand new abattery i bought it about a year ago. I have subs in the trunk with a amp.
I Have a 1999 honda civic Se.
thanks

Have the ICM inside the distributor tested at an auto parts store.
You can use a multimeter to resistance test the coil inside the distributor yourself. See FAQs sticky.
