Good coil-overs for 94 civic hatch?
As the topic says, what are some good coil overs for a 94 civic hatch? Is there anything else i'll need to go along with them like shocks and what not? Does it matter if I plan to swap to a B18B in the future? I'm going to be running some 16" slipstreams in the future, if that makes any difference. Thanks
if you on a budget and want a nice ride get some ground control, but if its in your budget get something like tein, jic, ect (actual coilovers)
I'd have to go with ground control. I have them with custom spring rates on my hatch and am too poor to put decent shocks on and it still feels 110% better than stock- just a little bumpy right now
skunk 2 and koni yellows if you like a stiffer ride
ground control with kyb agx if you want a good ride
i like the stiff skunk 2 set up my self but i have no problems with gc

GC with AGX- KYB is a good company and if you have any problems, they'll help you out right away..shipped me 2 sets of adjuster settings within 3 days of e mailing them!

I would go w/ a set of KYB adjustable's for struts... and would get springs instead of coilovers.... stock struts will not last very long w/ coilovers and it is a bouncy ride.. springs will take away the bounce and you should get better tire wear!

Whatever you decide to go with, just make sure it doesn't say APC/RACTIVE/WEAPON R etc...
Stick with the good brands and you'll be happy
Springs: Eibach, Progress, etc.
Coilover kit: Ground Control, Skunk
Coilovers: Tein, JIC, Progress, etc.
Struts: Koni, KYB, Tokico
Try doing a search and you'll see a bunch of different recommendations. One thing to consider is what you're using the car for (autocross, road racing, track events, drag racing, street only...) and how much you want to spend ($500-$2000).
I hate coilovers.
Adjust, then need to align.
Need a four point hydrolic lift and many tools, plus a friend to adjust properly.
Usally weights a lot!

I'll look into the ground control and KYB setup, thanks guys
If anyone can help me out further, the car is going to be my daily driver, not really interested in the twisties, so i'd like it smooth with just enough of a drop to almost fill or fill the wheelwells. I don't want any ghetto slammed to the ground stuff.
